Today we did a safety course and training on how to mow the lawn. It's the first time our kids have ever touched a lawn mower. With our postage stamp yard I feel like it is the perfect job for them. Starting the mower is still my job as no one is strong enough. And the mowers they give us aren't self propelled. It's hard for Dax to get it moving, but he enjoyed it. He really enjoyed the weed whacker though.

What! We need to give them a safety briefing prior!
What!? The American safety brief isn't enough? I.e. Check the gas, don't cut your foot off
Only the American kids. Canadians don't need a safety brief.
Oh man. Can't figure out how to change from Jared's login, but here are My two cents: wear closed toe shoes with bonus points for steel toed boots, wear sunglasses (or even better safety goggles as little rocks become little missiles), don't start after drinking a 12-pack.
