We bought pre-packaged foods to hand out. Each of our kids had their own bag of one item (granola bars, rice crackers, applesauce and raisins). They put their one item in the person's bag and moved on down the line through about 20 people. The kids thought it was really touching and they will be doing it quite often from here on out.

Feeding the Homeless
Dax had tryouts tonight for soccer and then we went outside the base to feed the homeless. The homeless in Japan (at least tonight) looked almost like regular citizens....some missing their teeth, but definitely not the mental health cases that we see in the states.
