Pikachu Upset

Our friends were going to the Pokemon Center today in Landmark Tower and we decided to go with them. They are having a special Pikachu exhibition all over the area down there and it ended up being insane. The amount of people that flocked out to see the Pikachu was more than I could even imagine. Especially since it had been happening for 2 weeks. We tried very hard to find the "Pikachu Parade" which was about 20 of them walking around through the streets. However, we seemed to miss that display. We did find many others and the store was a madhouse. We left after seeing the checkout line and decided we would try again another day. Write this one up for another Japanese experience that had high hopes but ended with a hot sweaty day filled with crowds.

 There were little Pikachu references everywhere. From blow ups, photo ops, flags, and signs on buildings and train platforms. It was quite the show.

 This is the Pokemon store. No room to even walk around. The check out line snaked around about 10 times and wound through to the back of the store. No THANKS!!

 For 300 yen, you could wait in line for 20 minutes and then go fishing for Pickachu blow up heads. You caught as many as you could in 1 minute and then put them all back and left with one. Amazing:) We didn't do it.
