Well, we succeeded in making it to HI! We are some lucky ducks, as we managed to snag some sweet base housing. They opened up some houses for higher ranked officers to us lowly 0-4s just starting Monday. We just had perfect timing. The house is right by C's school and a mile from Jill as well as close to the commissary and a Target. Heaven, right? It's a 3 bedroom and 1900 sq ft, but we'll survive after I make a large donation once again to the second hand store. I'm just so excited to have a place to live and to call my own. We move in on the 29th with some temporary furniture from the Navy.
